The Duane Barett Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is given to honor an individual who has spent many years in service to Christ in The SBC music ministries – local, state, or national level. Recipients of this award will receive honorary life membership in the Fellowship of Church Musicians.

The Fellowship of Church Musicians is an organization of local church music leaders and church music participants open to any Christian musician who desires to participate. Joining the fellowship is as easy as registering and attending the annual conference held each year around the second week of November.
In 2010 the conference dates will move with the convention dates to the end of October each year. October 24-26, 2010, Clovis, CA.
